All web hosting clients can choose one of our two base accounts. The Basic Account is designed to allow a company a basic web presence and is not designed to accommodate extensive functionality. No additional services may be added to the Basic Account. The Enhanced Web Account is designed for those sites which require more interactivity and functionality. All web hosting services can be added to this account.

Basic Web Account $10 per month ($10 set-up fee)
  • 5 megabytes of drive space (each meg over five billed at 25 cents per meg per month.)
  • 500 megabytes of data transfer (each meg over 500 billed at three cents per meg per month.)
  • Five forwarding emails of your choice
  • Five POP email.
  • Unlimited use of forms using mgiSendForm tag
  • Unlimited use of MGI counter, sendmail, sendform, time, date, last modified.
  • Unlimited FTP for site modification
  • Statistics at $5 additional per month.
  • Free Domain Name Registration (No charge by KND: Registration Service charges apply)

No additional services may be added to the Basic Account. The Basic Account is designed to allow a company a basic web presence and is not designed to accommodate extensive functionality. To extend the capabilities of your web site, we have a second level of service:

Enhanced Web Account $20per month ($20 set-up fee)
  • 20 megabytes of drive space (each meg over 20 billed at 25 cents per meg per month.)
  • One gigabyte of data transfer (each meg over one gig billed at three cents per meg per month.)
  • Unlimited use of all MGI tags except banner ad, shopping basket, and database.
  • Unlimited "anyuser" forwarding emails.
  • Ten targeted forwarding emails. (See below for explanation.)
  • Five POP emails.
  • Secure web server access.
  • Unlimited FTP for site modification
  • Free Domain Name Registration (No charge by KND: Registration Service charges apply)

The following services can be added as needed to the Enhanced Web Account.
  • Banner Ads: $10 per month
  • Shopping Basket: $10 per month and fifty cents per order submitted.
  • Database Services: $20 per month with unlimited number of DB tables and hits.
  • Listserv Services: $5 per month minimum against ten cents per meg data
    transmission.
  • Additional targeted emails at $1 per month per email address.
  • Additional POP emails at $2 per month per email address.
  • Autoresponders at $1 per month per autoresponder.
  • Statistics at $5 additional per month.
  • Semi-anonymous FTP services (requires common login ID, but no passcode.)
Domain Name Registration No charge by KND: Registration Service charges apply
KND will gladly register your domain name with the appropriate registration authority at no additional charge to you - whether you host with us or not. KND does not charge for registration services, nor do we charge to hold a domain in reserve. The only charges that apply are those imposed directly by the various registration services and those charges are billed directly to the client. KND does not impose an additional monthly fee to host domain name services.
Forwarding Emails and how they work
Our forwarding email system has been altered somewhat. Before, we offered five forwarding emails included in each account with each additional forwarding email costing $1 per month. And we had to get involved each time you wanted to add or subtract and email address. We now have a system where any email addressed to your domain gets passed to a specific POP email account whether that POP is located on our system or on your dial-up provider's system. Then you can specify up to ten other forwarding email addresses that get forwarded to a POP account or accounts other than the one which acts as the anyuser email target. For each additional targeted forwarding email address, the charge is $1 per month per address.
 
That system will allow you to specify that only certain people get email addressed to things such as sales, info, techsupport, a specific user name, etc. Anything else apart from what you specify gets forwarded to a single account for you to sort out and respond to. We can also send email to a specific username to more than one POP account so that (for instance) any email arriving for sales can be forwarded to several different people in the event one of them is on vacation and can not answer email in a timely manner.
 
One of the things you can do with that account is to set up a targeted email address for public use in things such as newsgroups or on-line ordering systems. Then you can take any email which comes in to that address-- typically spam -- and dump it into a null POP account that gets automatically erased.
