KND Internet Services introduces the quickest, easiest, cheapest way to maintain a database on the internet. Using MGI Software by Pageplanet Software Inc., we can easily set up a database for any function imaginable. All software and extensions are native to our machines. No need to download a new software package taking up valuable disk space and memory. Our database software allows you to be the author of the materials contained within the database. Initial set-up of the database is all we have to perform. If you want to add or delete records later, then all you need to do is open your internet browser. All updates and edits are performed and transmitted through your regular internet browser, whether that's Netscape, Internet Explorer, or anything else. Databases can decrease the amount of time it takes to create your website as well as keeping your website a reasonable, manageable size. You can use databases for whatever you see fit. If you can organize the information into a table with columns and rows, then we can create a database. Anything you can think of where items have similar characteristics, a database can be used to present that information.

Database uses:

  1. Databases can be used to store information for a shopping cart. Once the initial database work is completed, a quick tutorial will have you updating your products as new products arrive, old products are discontinued, prices change, etc. Any product information that changes can be updated by yourself. No need to send in your updates and pay someone to do it. You can update when you feel ready, not when someone else finds the time.
  2. You can use a database to create a searchable index. If you have used Yahoo, Alta Vista, Infoseek, Dogpile, or Hot Bot, you have used a searchable index. These databases are rather extensive in their information, but they don't have to be. You can have as few as 2 entries (although you really wouldn't need a database for this) or as many as tens or hundreds of thousands of entries in the database.
  3. Password authentication for sensitive information. Set up a database containing user names and passwords used to access information. Members listed in the database could get stock quotes, download proprietary software, transfer funds from accounts, look at accounts, access medical files, etc. Whatever you feel a need to protect, a database can provide an easy way of keeping track of the information.
